The Provincial Government of Cavite under the leadership of Gov. Jonvic Remulla awarded financial assistance to out-of-school youths (OSY) from different municipalities of the province under the Abot Alam Program of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) during the flag-raising ceremony held at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City on November 17, 2014.
To strengthen gender and development programs in pursuit of women empowerment, the Provincial Government of Cavite led by Governor Jonvic Remulla hosted the 12th General Assembly of the PFLCW held on November 12-14, 2014 at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City.
This year’s theme “Economic Rights and Opportunities: Growth for Women” drew the presence and support of equally empowered women like Senators Loren Legarda, Grace Poe-Llamanzares, and Cynthia Villar together with Cong. Leni Robredo whoserved as guest speakers during the event. Guests and participants were welcomed by PFLCW Regional Coordinator and Cavite 7th District Board Member Irene Bencito, being the Chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Women, Family, Elderly and Social Services.
