On November 21, 2017, the Provincial Health Office conducted the Skin Disease Detection and Prevention Caravan which aimed to educate the public on the importance of self-examination, adequate skin care, and early consultation for proper management of skin diseases in Brgy. Pasong Kawayan I, City of Gen. Trias. A total of 215 patients were given free skin consultation as well as medicines by the volunteer doctors, nurses and technical staff of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital and Dr. Jonathan P. Luseco, City Health Officer – Gen. Trias. A lecture on skin care was also done during the caravan by Ms. Ma. Cristina Ann Buenaagua, National Leprosy Control Program Regional Coordinator. Gift giving for the leprosy patients was also part of the program. Board Member Kerby Salazar, PCL President attended the caravan.
