To augment the immediate medical needs and endure the unforeseen burial expenses, the provincial government of Cavite led by Governor Boying Remulla thru the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) headed by Ms. Felipa Servañez granted P2,186,000 worth of financial assistance to 478 Caviteños on July 10, 2018 held at the provincial capitol grounds in Trece Martires City.  Three hundred thirteen beneficiaries of medical assistance received a total amount of P1,703,000, twenty-nine recipients were given P87,000 burial aid, and 136 indigent senior citizens received a total amount of P396,000 burial support. Governor Remulla’s administration has strengthened its social services and welfare assistance programs to help the penniless members of the community in coping up with the sudden burdens of medical and burial expenses and surpass the miserable stage in their life.  In behalf of the governor, Atty. Khervy Reyes, Supervising Cooperative Development Specialist, echoed the commitment of the provincial government to reinforce a more comprehensive social services to ease the worries encountered by fellow Caviteños.
