GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH)-DRUG ABUSE TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION CENTER (DATRC)

Cavite Governor Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla together with Japan International Cooperation Agency  (JICA) Chief Representative Mr. Yoshio Wada,  and Japan Ambassador Koji Haneda led the traditional groundbreaking ceremony and laying of time capsule to mark the official construction of Department of Health (DOH)-Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC) in CALABARZON on July 19, 2018 at Brgy. Osorio, Trece Martires City. The rehabilitation facility will be built in a 5-hectare lot donated by the Cavite Provincial Government and will be funded by the Government of Japan which is expected to be operational in 2020. This undertaking is under the Consolidated Rehabilitation of Illegal Drug Users (CARE) program. The event was also attended by Cavite 6th District Representative Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer, DOH – Calabarzon Regional Director Dr. Eduardo C. Janairo, DOH Undersecretary Roger Tong-An, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Epimaco V. Densing and Trece Martires City local officials.
