Equipping the Caviteños with decent jobs which were suitable on their acquired experiences, credentials and degree earned, the Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Cavite PESO Managers’ Association (CPMA), Inc. led by Dr. Eva Defiesta with the support from Cavite Mayor’s League headed by Carmona Mayor Dahlia Loyola organized the second leg of Cavite Job Caravan on October 05, 2018 at the provincial capitol grounds in Trece Martires City.

Almost 1,400 applicants gathered in the venue hopeful to find a job suited on their qualifications and capabilities. A total number of 5,841 local and 1,816 overseas job vacancies were offered by the 37 local and 12 overseas participating companies and organizations. Aspirants were also encouraged to be patient and continuously find a job that really fits them. If they fail, they were guided to persevere on looking for doors of opportunities which will open up for them. Public Employment Service Office (PESO) has been very devoted in their undertaking on developing programs for job seekers thus upgrading the lives of indigent residents.

Meanwhile, Governor Boying Remulla graced the event and voiced out that nothing is impossible when an applicant knows the value of persistence and perseverance. Likewise, Cavite Councilors League President Kerby Salazar left an inspirational message to the job hunters and conveyed that having a decent job will always have a positive outcome on the society being a productive member of the community.

Also present on the job fair were representatives from private companies, local government units, Cavite PESO Managers and representatives from government agencies including the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Overseas Worker Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG Fund, Philhealth, Philpost, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Social Security System (SSS).
