Relentless on providing welfare services for Caviteños, the provincial government of Cavite thru the OPG-Extension and the Provincial Health Office visited Barangay Hugo Perez in Trece Martires City on July 10, 2019 as part of its undertaking on giving the basic healthcare services free of charge for the less privileged members of society. Seventh District Board Member Ping Remulla with TMC Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso and the members of the city council roamed around the vicinity to communicate with the people and ask the locals on how they can be of help to ease their burden in life.  Four hundred thirty-eight residents have availed free checkups and consultation with free medicines and vitamins. Dental extraction and free blood sugar testing were also conducted during the mission. Likewise, employees of the Population Commission (POPCOM) chatted with the residents and guided them on family planning and proper birth spacing. Also present who supported the event and made it successful were employees of the Multilab Diagnostic and Health Services, Inocencio Paramedic and Rescue Volunteer, barangay health workers and barangay nutrition scholars. Barangay Chairman Simeon Perdito and the members of the barangay council made sure that the event will flow smoothly by providing the needed assistance rendered by volunteer doctors, dentists and other medical professionals from GEAMH and the City Health Office.
