On July 23, 2019, residents of Brgy. Sahud Ulan in Tanza attentively listened to the short lecture on skin disease awareness specifically about leprosy delivered by Ms. Haydelisa Maderazo, National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) provincial coordinator from the Provincial Health Office. The talk also covered a discussion on proper skin care and hygiene. Patients underwent free skin consultation conducted by the medical staff from PHO and Tanza Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Ruth Punzalan. They were also given free vitamins, skin ointments, soap and insect repellant lotion. Likewise, due to the dengue outbreak in the province, anti-dengue awareness campaign was also included in the activity in which residents were given leaflets about dengue prevention and control.
