The Provincial Government of Cavite’s medical mission team extended healthcare services to the teachers and other residents of Trece Martires City on September 30, 2019 at Trece Martires City National High School in Barangay San Agustin. Two hundred thirty-six (236) teachers and other locals received their needed medical check-up performed by the medical practitioners from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) while 32 patients had their tooth extracted by dentists from the City Rural Health Unit assisted by the Inocencio Paramedic and Rescue Volunteers and trained personnel from the Office of the Provincial Governor-Extension. Other services included ear cleaning, ventosa and acupuncture performed by volunteers from the New Generation International School. The provincial government’s outreach program aims to ensure teachers’ wellness as a way of showing gratitude for their noble service in time with the celebration of national teachers’ month.
