CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – In pursuit of better manpower planning and development, and in contribution to policy formulation, DOLE CALABARZON is conducting a survey on how the COVID-19 pandemic is re-shaping the employment landscape in the Region.
Regional Director Henry John S. Jalbuena calls various companies and establishments across the region to participate in the survey. “This survey intends to craft a comprehensive, timely, available and reliable Labor Market Information (LMI) Report with focus on how the COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping the employment landscape. The report aims to assess the condition of the CALABARZON labor market before and during pandemic. Likewise, this intends to gather industry plans, prospects and initiatives in the advent of the new normal,” Director Jalbuena remarked.
The results of the survey will be beneficial to the government, industries and jobseekers as the study gauges the impacts of the pandemic thereby soliciting inputs for better program administration and planning.
The same is being done online. Companies and establishments, through their respective Human Resource (HR) officers or other key personnel, are enjoined to participate in the study. The online survey is accessible through this link: tiny.cc/COVID19LMI.
