In celebration of the “Month of Overseas Filipinos, the Provincial Government through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) , in cooperation with the Cavite Overseas Filipino Welfare Council conducted the Advocacy Caravan in addressing social cost of migration on December 03, 2018 at Cavite State University – Main Campus in the municipality of Indang.  The event was participated by more than 100 senior high school students from the institution. A very timely lecture on Addressing the Social Cost of Migration were presented by Mr. Wilfred Quezon, Administrator of Magallanes Western Cavite Institute, Inc. while Mr. Paul Mark Feranil from the Provincial Population Office shared his insights in Lecture on Prevention of Teenage Pregnancy. Likewise, Ms. Haydelisa Maderazo, Provincial HIV Program Coordinator opened a discussion on HIV Awareness. Dr. Camilo A. Polinga, CvSU Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Hernando Robles, the University President also graced the event to show support on the advocacy and urged the participants to focus on finishing their education and use the orientation program as an inspiration to fight against teenage pregnancy and HIV.
