The Provincial Government of Cavite through the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) conducted the Coop i-Create, a Ladderized Training for Cooperatives (LTC) on January 10, 2020 at the Cavite Cooperative Development Center in Trece Martires City to provide an alternative way and profitable employment opportunities for individuals who aspire to have their own businesses. The program aims to identify potential entrepreneurs and provide them with comprehensive support to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and competencies to establish and operate their own competitive business on a sustainable basis.
Ms. Liza C. Gabatan, Entrepreneurial Head, PCLEDO welcomed the participants and gave the detailed and comprehensive overview of the training. The seminar-workshop proper was facilitated by Dr. Aldrin P. Antivola, Business Efficiency Advisor/Organization Therapist. He clearly discussed Entrepreneurial Mindsetting which include the topics: Motivating a Cooperative to Start a Business, NAch – Need for Achievement, How to Develop an Entrepreneurial Mindset in 7 Days or Less, Understanding the “Law of Attraction” and Designing and Understanding a Business Model. During the program, the participants were able to get to know each other by sharing the name of their Cooperatives, locations, missions and visions and other pertinent data. The next sessions will be scheduled on January 17, 23, 24 and February 18, 2020.
Meanwhile, Atty. Khervy B. Reyes, Officer-in-Charge, PCLEDO challenged the participants to reach more people and assured them that the PCLEDO employees will always be present to give assistance in order to achieve their goals.
Attended by 15 selected cooperatives with their Chairpersons and Managers, the participants were expected to gain competencies, learn the art of planning, and organize and execute their businesses with the goal of bringing competitive products to a wider market.
