HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR THE PEOPLE OF ROSARIO

Three hundred thirty-one residents and employees of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints benefitted from free medical and dental mission rendered by the Provincial Government of Cavite thru the OPG-Extension Office and the Provincial Health Office thru the support of volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses and medical staff from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) on March 24, 2018 at Brgy. Tejero in the municipality of Rosario. Free check-ups and consultations were given to 137 adults, 92 children and 41 senior citizens. Sixty-one dental patients were given free tooth extraction. Free medicines and vitamins were also granted to the patients. Dr. Mary O. Chan of Ideal Vision led the distribution of free reading glasses to patients with eye problems that were earlier checked by volunteer ophthalmologists from the Philippine General Hospital. The Cavite Rescue One chaired by Mr. Dennis B. Bernal of Cavite City and Zion Emergency and Disaster Rescue Unit of Rosario also assisted in the mission.
