PGC GRANTS EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Taking its wider consideration that education plays a vital role for the youth’s success in life, the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) led by Governor Boying Remulla , thru the Provincial Scholarship Committee (PSC) facilitated the distribution of Sulong Dunong for the Senior High School students of the municipalities of Amadeo and Indang and the city of Trece Martires on February 8, 2019 at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City. Provincial Administrator for Community Affairs and Chairman of the Provincial Scholarship Program Alvin Mojica warmly welcomed all the attendees and commended all the beneficiaries who will be taking up a new journey as they will enter the college life soon.  The ceremonial distribution of educational assistance amounting to P 1, 201, 000.00 to 1,201 students was spearheaded by Governor Remulla, together with some guests including Senator JV Ejercito, Indang Councilor Ping Remulla, Tanza Councilor Lito Langit and former Provincial Administrator for Community Affairs Engr. Redel John Dionisio who also imparted words of advice and encouragement to the youth.  Meanwhile, 48 victims of a vehicular accident from Naic also received a total amount of P 735, 000.00 from the provincial government to help the victims and relatives who suffered from injuries during the seminar of barangay captain on Baguio City recently.
