PGC Holds the 1st Job Fair for Senior High School Graduates

The Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Provincial Public Employment Service Office in partnership with the Department of Education – Cavite facilitated the 1st Job Fair for Senior High School graduates at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City on May 10, 2018.
More than 3,600 job vacancies were posted by thirteen (13) participating companies in the field of manufacturing, production, retail, merchandise, exporting and process outsourcing. Over 500 job seekers flocked at the job fair.Ā  They have also availed various services offered by the national agencies including Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and Pag IBIG Fund which can be used for their basic employment requirements.
In her short message, Ms. Cherry Lou D. De Mesa, Cavite Schools Division Superintendent stressed that the job fair will be an avenue to inspire the newly graduates and a technique to motivate the job seekers to have a good perspective in life with decent opportunities coming their way. Two hundred applicants qualified for the first screening and were asked to report to different agencies for further assessment.
The event was also attended by personnel from the Department of Education (Dep-Ed-Cavite), Cavite Office of Public Safety (COPS), Provincial Information and Community Affairs Department (PICAD) and General Services Office (GSO).
