PROVIDING HEALTHCARE SERVICES THRU MEDICAL MISSION

Prioritizing the needs of the indigents and making the life of the locals more convenient were shown as the medical mission team composed of volunteers from the OPG-Extension and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) rendered free healthcare services which benefitted a total of 341 people in Barangay Pantihan and Maragondon Elementary School on January 23, 2020. Out of the 341 patients, 102 individuals were from the province of Batangas who fled for safety following the eruption of Taal Volcano. Dr. Aldous Angeles from PHO led the volunteer medical professionals in providing free checkup and consultation to the locals and evacuees. Punong Barangay Julita Coronel of Pantihan 4, with the members of the municipal council and barangay health workers were in attendance and supported in making the mission successful.
