RESPONDING TO THE MEDICAL NEEDS OF TRECEÑOS

A total of 399 residents in Barangay Inocencio in Trece Martires City received free consultations and tooth extraction during the conduct of PGC’s medical and dental mission on August 2, 2019.  Volunteer doctors, dentists and other medical professionals from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital examined every patient to know their health problems and prescribed the corresponding medicines. Treceños were also given the opportunity to avail other services including random blood sugar testing by Multilab Diagnostic and Health Services, checking of weight and blood pressure, and family planning counselling conducted by employees from the Provincial Population Office. Barangay Captain Rosendo Dilidili, barangay health workers and other volunteers from the local and provincial government assisted in the event making it more organized and successful. The event was made possible through the effort of TMC Mayor Gemma Lubigan, Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso and the members of the city and barangay councils.
