More than 170 residents of Pabahay in Barangay San Francisco in the City of General Trias have availed free skin consultation during the conduct of Kilatis Kutis Campaign on May 30, 2019. Barangay Chairman Eduardo Umali expressed his gratitude to the provincial government thru the Provincial Health Office with the support from the City Health Office of Gen. Trias for visiting their community and checking the health conditions of their constituents. During the event, Ms. Haydelisa Maderazo, National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) provincial coordinator facilitated a short lecture on leprosy awareness and how it could be treated. Together with Dr. Cherry Aspuria and Dr. Jonathan Euseco of the City Health Office, they patiently rendered free checkup and consultation to the residents who have skin disease problems. Patients who were treated were given free ointments to cure their skin disease and vitamins to enhance their immune system. The team have also conducted home visit to two locals who have leprosy and psoriasis problems. Nurses and some volunteer medical practitioners from the City Health Office with the barangay health workers were also present during the Kilatis Kutis Campaign .
