Employees’ General Assembly


     In compliance with Executive Order 292 or the Administrative Code of the Philippines stipulating policies pertaining to human resources in the government, the employees of the Provincial Government of Cavite held an assembly for the election of representatives on the Civil Service Commission required HR Systems. Chief Administrative Officer Lourdes G. Camero thanked and welcomed the employees to the assembly and invited them in advance to the orientation of the employees’ organization in July. CSC Cavite Field Office Director Maria Theresa R. Poblador discussed the overview of assembly and explained in detail what the committees are. She expressed confidence that those who will be elected can perform the duties and responsibilities that will be given to them. Elected in the Personnel Selection Board (PSB) Committee 1st and 2nd Level Positions were Mr. Flocerfino Alcantara and Ms. Jerilyn Villanueva respectively, while  Mr. Mark Lester Carada (1st LP) and Ms. Nancy Lontoc (2nd LP) were elected in the Grievance Committee. The Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee had Ms. Merlina Alcaraz (1st LP) and Mr. Jose Paredes (2nd LP) elected. Meanwhile, Ms. Jacqueline Tibayan (1st LP) and Ms. Wilma Pereña (2nd LP) were elected in the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) and the majority vote for Personnel Development Committee (PDC) went to Ms. Kristel Ann May Torres for the 1st Level Position and Ms. Anthoniet Rieta, 2nd Level Position. (PICAD)

Recipients of the award also received one million pesos each from the DILG’s Performance Challenge Fund (PCF).

    Cavite was also hailed as one of the Regional Gawad Pamana ng Lahi 2011 Awardee – Provincial Category.  Exemplary performance information is drawn from the database of the on-line LGPMS, Seal of Good Housekeeping, International Organization or National Government Agency-bestowed awards and acknowledged innovations.
