Twenty nine offices of the provincial government of Cavite received the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration from AJA Registrars, Inc. during the PGC’s flag-raising ceremony held at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City on July 3, 2017. The certificates were conferred by AJA Registrars Inc Vice President/General Manager Paul Bagatsing and AJA Registrars Inc Marketing Officer Laarni Narido, in the presence of Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla, Vice Governor Jolo Remulla and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, department and unit heads and the provincial capitol employees.
Provincial Board Secretary and Quality Management Representative Michelle Alcid expressed her gratitude to the people behind the success of the certification and stated that the PGC’s goal of persistently improving the quality management system is now a reality and the conferment is another proof that Cavite is indeed a “First Class, World Class” province.
On the other hand, Governor Remulla uttered that the awarding of ISO certificates signify a great leap towards the achievement of the province’s aspiration. He also stressed that the leaders of the provincial government are doing its part to uplift the status of the lives of Cavitenos. He mentioned that during their trip in China recently, they have observed the processes and procedures used by Chinese in using the internet and fiber optic system which they plan to adapt in the province. He also declared that PGC have already been using the consignment system in purchasing medicines for the government hospital specifically the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) and hopes to implement the zero bill policy, together with the support of Philhealth.
During the program, Gov. Remulla has also recognized Police Senior Superintendent Arthur V. Bisnar who was given commendation for his exemplary performance and accomplishments as provincial director of Cavite PNP and exerting extra effort in order to maintain peace and order in the province. He also informed the public of the projects to be finalized soon , in coordination with different agencies including the turn-over of Palay-Palay National Park to the province, the Cavite Laguna Express Way (CALAX) heading to Silang, Gen. Trias, Imus and Kawit and the construction of the Port and International Airport in Cavite City. (PICAD)
