Vision

Cavite, the “Historical Capital of the Philippines”, recognized as a leading and sustainable tourist and cultural destination.

Mission

To propel the tourism sector as a key engine of socio-economic development, increase the economic benefits that flow from tourism to the province, promote and enhance Cavite as a globally competitive tourist destination, and broaden the scope of tourism product portfolio by including cultural tourism, eco-tourism, and agri-tourism.

Functional Statement

  1. Formulate policies, and conceptualize and implement programs on tourism and cultural product development and promotion;
  2. Oversee tourism facilities owned by the Provincial Government of Cavite;
  3. Monitor standards and accreditation of tourism-related establishments and services;
  4. Supervise affairs that promote cultural heritage and growth of the province;
  5. Coordinate with LGUs and NGAs for the integration of provincial tourism and cultural agenda through development plans; and
  6. Develop partnership and linkages between LGUs and stakeholders in the tourism industry.
