The 2009 CNN Hero of the Year Mr. Efren Peñaflorida expressed his appreciation to Governor Boying Remulla for continuously supporting his advocacy to help the youth by choosing the Kariton Klasrum for the oral health month activities. On behalf of the Dynamic Teen Company and the Kariton Klasrum Program, Mr. Peñaflorida likewise thanked the dentists of the Provincial Health Office who celebrated with them on February 22, 2019, wherein seventy (70) students of the Kariton Klasrum Senior High School in Barangay Halang, Amadeo were provided free dental cleaning and extraction to improve their oral health. Meanwhile, on behalf of Provincial Health Officer Dr. Gilbert Ilog, Dental Department head Dr. Me-ann Montenegro also delivered a thank you message to the CNN Hero for the invitation and the opportunity to somehow help the youth pursue their dreams.
