Twenty more mentees under the 4th batch of the Mentor Me Program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) participated in the free business seminar on August 28, 2019 at City Mall, Imus with focus on entrepreneurial mind-setting, values formation and marketing. Mentees, mentors and other guests were welcomed by DTI-IV-A Regional Director Marilou Toledo, encouraging new mentees to complete the module and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from experts like Jwien Food Corp President Jorge Wieneke and Tokyo Tempura Chief Finance Officer Jennifer Wieneke who served as resource speakers. Likewise, mentees were also inspired from the success stories of local entrepreneurs in Cavite including Ms. Maricel Bagadiong of Bee Healthy Lemon, Ms. Lea Panganiban of David’s Faith Fruit Wine Manufacturing and Ms. Bettina Belardo of Belardo Coffee Enterprise from Amadeo. In closing, DTI-Cavite Provincial Director Noly Guevara thanked the mentors for the constant support they give to capacitate MSMEs in the province. Also in attendance were PCDC Chair Rodrigo “Ka Rodring” Camia and CaSMEDC Chair Teresita Leabres.
