Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla promptly responded during the onslaught of calamity as he visited the residents of the cities of General Trias, Dasmariñas, and Imus on December 7, 2019 ensuring the safety of his constituents and bringing relief goods to the people. Six thousand five hundred relief goods were distributed to the locals of Sunnybrooke 2 and Tropical Village in Barangay San Francisco in General Trias, another six thousand five hundred packs of rice for the citizens of Zone 2 in Barangay Sampaloc 4 and Barangay Fatima 1 in the City of Dasmarinas and six thousand five hundred relief goods to the residents of Barangay Pag-asa 1 and Barangay Palico 2 in the City of Imus. Governor Remulla echoed his commitment to ease the burden of the people and swore to bring quality service to the indigent members of the community. He also encouraged everyone to call the attention of their respective leaders to immediately respond on emergencies and disasters which can help save lives and properties of the citizens. The governor also brought good news to the public as he explained the fiber optic internet connection in Cavite with more than 300 kilometers of fiber optic cables spread throughout the province making it a free wi-fi zone. The governor highlighted the importance of modernizing information technology and going with the flow of innovation which mirrors economic development in the province. Together with the governor who showed enthusiasm and compassion to their constituents were General Trias Mayor Ony Ferrer, General Trias Vice Mayor Morit Sison, 4th District Board Member Fulgencio Dela Cuesta, Cavite Councilors League President Nickol Austria, 3rd District Representative AA Advincula, 3rd District Board Members Jeffrey Asistio and Dennis Lacson ,  city and barangay councilors and punong barangay of the three recipient cities.
