Cavite greening program continues in Tagaytay City, this time in Barangay Maharlika East and West during the 4th Cavite Arbor Day spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (OPENRO) on December 1, 2023 as part of the conservation and rehabilitation of the Taal Volcano Protected Landscape (TVPL).
The initiative was participated by the employees of selected PGC offices, officers and staff of PGC Employees and Community Multipurpose Cooperative, personnel from PNP and Philippine Army, non-government organizations, private companies and local officials of Tagaytay City. A total of more than 350 fruit bearing and forest trees were planted along the TVPL in the territorial boundary of Barangay Maharlika.
