Cavite Governor Boying Remulla led the distribution of four units of ambulance for the municipalities of Kawit, Maragondon, Ternate and General Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen) on October 30, 2017 at the municipal hall of Maragondon in the presence of Maragondon Mayor Reynaldo Rillo, Maragondon Vice Mayor Pinboy Angeles, Ternate Mayor Herminio C. Lindo, General Emilio Aguinaldo Mayor Danilo Bencito, Magallanes Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Baustista and 7th District Board Member Reinalyne Varias. The ambulances were received by the ABC presidents of the four municipalities – Alvin Bunag of Kawit, Alberto Malimban of Maragondon, Andres Oliver of General Emilio Aguinaldo, and Dionilo Bersamina of Ternate. In his speech, Governor Remulla emphasized that his aim is to uplift the quality of life of the Caviteños and make the life of his constituents uncomplicated. He also enumerated the programs that are being pushed by the provincial government that will surely benefit the entire province including the installation of fibre optic cables in different cities and municipalities to improve the speed of internet access in the province and acquire the highest and fastest digital face in the whole country being the biggest subscriber based outside Metro Manila; prioritizing health care services specifically the “no balance billing policy” in GEAMH which entitles patients to have free medical services until they are discharged from the hospital; maintenance of peace and order; roads and infrastructure projects including the bypass roads; projection of a training facility for athletes; continuity of scholarship programs for deserving students; and boosting the tourism industry of the province.
