As part of the post celebration of National Autism Consciousness Week, the Office of the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Officer in partnership with the Municipality of Rosario through the Persons with Disability Affairs Office spearheaded a heartwarming and inspiring art painting activity for 40 children with autism on March 21, 2024 at SM City Rosario Event Center. The event not only highlighted the artistic abilities of the children but also emphasized the importance of inclusion and appreciation for individuals with diverse abilities.

The art workshop proper was facilitated by the members of Skills and Drills Dance, Arts and Sports Studio, Inc. Each child was given the freedom to express themselves through colors, shapes, and imagination. The activity was a collaborative effort involving the children, their families, and volunteers who worked together to create a supportive and encouraging environment.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the event was witnessing the joy and enthusiasm radiating from the children as they immersed themselves in the creative process. For many of them, art serves as a powerful medium of communication and self-expression, allowing them to convey their thoughts, emotions, and unique perspectives.

Ā The art pieces will be featured in an exhibit, which will run from March 22 to March 27, 2024, at SM City Rosario Cinema Hallway, which will provide an opportunity to the public to admire and appreciate the artworks created by these talented young artists. It also serves as a platform to raise awareness about autism and promote understanding and acceptance within the community.
