CAVITE’S KILATIS KUTIS TEAM REACHES OUT TO BOYSTOWN IN SILANG

More than 200 young boys, almost 10% of the current student population in the Sisters of Mary School ā€“ Adlas, Inc. in Silang, Cavite benefited from Kilatis Kutis program on October 8, 2019. The project is in line with the Department of Health’s campaign on skin disease prevention and focuses on the importance of skin health. During the event, the medical volunteers provide free consultation, plus medicines and vitamins to help boost their immune system. In collaboration with the Silang Municipal Health Office, Ms. Haydelisa Maderazo, National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) provincial coordinator, together with Mr. Radie Delos Santos from DOH led the team that visited boystown for the second time this year, and also gave out free herbal, sulfur, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal soaps to treat some who are suffering from scabies, eczema, tinea flava and infected wounds.Ā  Sr. Maria Elnora Tabangcura, the Clinic-in-Charge thanked the team for always reaching out and providing care to the youth inside their institution.
