The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through Regional Offices 3 and 4A, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cavite, invites Local Government Units and the Department of Education to join the Online Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Awareness Campaign from 25 to 26 November 2021.
The two-day webinar aims to promote among LGUs and the academe sector, DICT’s mandate of ensuring individuals’ right to privacy and confidentiality, the security of critical ICT infrastructures, providing oversight over regulatory bodies in the ICT sector, and ensuring consumer protection and welfare, data privacy and security, and fostering competition and growth of ICT sector. The topics that will be covered include orientation on Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure, Digital Parenting, Cybersecurity Awareness and many more.
