Muscovado Festival

Magallanes is an agriculture-based municipality, their primary source of income and living is in sugar cane farming. Provided with this source of living, the town of Magallanes is very popular in producing muscovado. Muscovado is a type of unrefined brown sugar from sugarcane juice with a strong molasses flavor.
