The provincial government continues its advocacy in providing the basic health needs of the CaviteƱos through the Botika on Wheels program. The team visited Barangays Camposanto, Digman, Kaingin, Maliksi1, Maliksi 2, Maliksi 3 and Poblacion (Tabing Dagat) in the City of Bacoor to deliver their medical needs on February 26, 2021.Ā A total of 1,807 seniors were given their prescribed medicines while 504 children received vitamins and insect repellent lotion. The BOW team were welcomed by the city government represented by former City CouncilorĀ Atty. Venus de Castro, head of the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), Barangay health workers and barangay nutrition scholars who assisted in the distribution of medicines. Also present were the barangay captains and council members of the seven barangays.
