A total of five hundred ninety seven (597) patients were served during the medical and dental mission sponsored by the Provincial Government of Cavite thru the Provincial Health Office and the OPG-Extension Office on February 2, 2019 at the Municipal Annex Bldg., Barangay Bagtas, Tanza, Cavite. The outreach project provided free pediatric and adult consultations to 327 children, 157 adult and 75 senior citizens and dental extraction to 38 patients. They were also given medicines and vitamins. Volunteers to the event were doctors from Tanza Rural Health Unit led by Dr. Ruth Punzalan, dentists and technical staff from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH). Barangay officials led by Barangay Captain Emmanuel ‘’Boyeth’’ Mintu were very grateful for the program and expressed their appreciation to Indang Municipal Councilor Ping Remulla who visited them during the mission. Tanza Municipal Councilor Aicel Morales and Association of Barangay Chairman Federation President Simon “SM” Matro were also present to support the activity.
