On August 17, 2023, a remarkable medical and dental mission took place in Brgy. Teniente Tiago, General Mariano Alvarez, extending healthcare services to the community’s residents. The event marked a collaborative effort between the provincial government, medical health professionals, barangay officials and volunteers.
The medical and dental practitioners Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital catered a total of 196 beneficiaries. Among these, 155 individuals sought comprehensive check-ups, diagnoses and prescriptions. Additionally, 41 individuals took advantage of the free tooth extraction services provided, addressing their dental needs and promoting oral health within the community. Maintenance medicines, vitamins, supplements and mosquito repellent-lotion were also distributed.
During the event, free eyeglasses and dishwashing liquid were also provided by the local government, through Barangay Chairman Dr. Victor L. Tuatis. With the combined effort of the government officials and health practitioners, provision of essential services for the overall health and well-being of the community was a success.
