The third leg of “Trabaho sa Kabataang Kabitenyo” mega job fair caravan was conducted on March 29, 2023 at Maragondon Town Plaza spearheaded by the Cavite Provincial PESO in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation. The caravan aimed to provide career prospects for Cavite youth.
Mr. Noah M. Caasi, the Municipal Administrator of Maragondon, began the job fair caravan with a message of support for the event and emphasized the importance of employment creation for the youth. Ms. Rizalie P. Enero, PPESO head and Mr. Rodel Vincent T. Bae, head of the Provincial Youth and Sports Development Office (PSYDO), also gave brief statements encouraging participants to take advantage of the job fair and underscoring the government’s commitment to assisting young people in obtaining work.
The job fair caravan featured booths from various companies and industries, including AQUAVIR International, Inc., Building Better Lives Manpower Services International, Inc., Caishen Marketing Service, Inc., DLB International, Inc., Enomoto Philippines Manufacturing, Inc., Eyequest International Manpower Services, Inc., House Research & Development (HRD) Singapore Pte., Ltd., Lazurite Titanium 8 Life Insurance Agency, Inc. (PRU Life UK), Lead Resource Management Corp., Pasig Industries, Inc., Philippine Seven Corporation, Powerlane Resource Corp., Sanford Marketing Corporation (SM Savemore Market) – EPZA, Star World International Manpower & Placement Agency, Inc., and Synergy Experts Labor Service Cooperative. In total, 3524 job vacancies for local employment were offered.
During the interview process, a total of 38 individuals applied for the job, out of which 10 were selected and offered employment right away. Likewise, Police and NBI clearance processing were also offered at the caravan.
Overall, the “Trabaho sa Kabataang Kabitenyo” mega job fair caravan was a positive step towards supporting the youth of Cavite in finding employment. The event underlined the government’s dedication to job development as well as the Caviteños perseverance in the face of adversity.
