On June 6, 2023, the Office of the Provincial Governor Medical Mission Team organized a commendable health outreach event at Tropical Village, City of Gen. Trias, responding to the call of Barangay Captain Walter Martinez. Doctors, dentists, and volunteers from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital generously offered free check-ups, consultations, tooth extractions, and medicine to the community.
The medical and dental mission program aims to meet the healthcare requirements of the area’s underprivileged population. A total of 392 people were able to obtain free medical consultations thanks to the joint efforts of medical professionals and dedicated volunteers. The team concentrated on diagnosing and treating common ailments, providing much-needed information and confidence to patients who frequently face barriers to healthcare.
Dental health was also addressed throughout the event, with 30 patients receiving free tooth extractions. Dental experts displayed their skill and concern throughout the process, assuring the patients’ comfort and safety. By offering this vital service, the initiative aims to ease dental pain and raise oral health awareness, thereby contributing to the community’s general well-being.
