In a display of unwavering commitment to serve Caviteños, the provincial government’s medical mission team in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment-Cavite conducted a health outreach activity at the historic Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 2023 during the Philippine Independence Day celebration.
The relentless rain and gusty winds fueled the determination of healthcare volunteers to serve the community in honor of the momentous occasion. The medical mission aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local population, particularly those who faced barriers in accessing quality healthcare services. By setting up temporary medical stations, the volunteers provided primary healthcare services, health screenings, and consultations to 138 locals.
