The medical mission program of the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) was held at Barangay Poblacion II, General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite on March 31, 2023 serving a total of 226 patients who attended the event for medical attention and advice.
Ms. Sharlene Ann Samala headed the medical mission which was organized to provide free medical consultations and services to the residents of Barangay Poblacion II. Medical experts who took part in the trip provided advice and diagnoses for a range of ailments and health issues. Aside from the free health checkup, free medicines were also distributed.
The community was grateful for the initiative and expressed their appreciation for the medical mission. Barangay Captain Salvador R. Munar extended his gratitude to the PGC team for the efforts in organizing the event and providing much-needed medical services to the community.
The medical mission program is evidence of the value of community healthcare and the strength of partnership. It demonstrated the dedication of medical professionals in carrying out their responsibility to serve the community by successfully providing healthcare services to people who are in need.
