In observance of the 2022 Meat Safety Consciousness Week with the theme, “Then and Now, Safe Meat for a Healthier Philippines”, Cavite Provincial Veterinary Office organized a trade fair for Cavite livestock and poultry producers on October 26-28, 2022 at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City.
The event was formally opened through a ribbon-cutting led by Provincial Administrator for Community Affair, Mr. Alvin Mojica and PVO head Dr. May Magno, together with the members of Cavite Livestock and Poultry Farmers Association, Inc. (CaLIPFAI). The trade fair was participated by Sustamina Meatshop, Fresh Options Meatshop, JDC Meats and Cavite Farmers Feedmilling and Marketing Cooperative.
Board Member Shernan Jaro, Chair-Committee on Agriculture graced the event in support of the agriculture sector in the province and acknowledged the contribution of the livestock and poultry producers to the economy.
