On February 7, 2024, the medical mission led by Office of the Provincial Governor and Office of the Provincial Health Officer had a significant impact on the residents of Barangays Bacao 1 and 2, in the city of Gen. Trias, demonstrating community support and healthcare outreach. The mission sought to deliver vital medical services to around 600 people in the area.

Medical professionals from OPHO and Gen. Trias City Health Office provided the services which include general medical consultations, dental check-ups and tooth extraction, diagnostic imaging through X-ray and electrocardiogram (ECG). Likewise, essential vitamins and prescription medicines were also given for free.

Sixth District Board Member Kerby Salazar and Gen. Trias City Councilor Kyle Javier Salazar attended the event, showing their support to the initiative. Their presence underscored their commitment to supporting such endeavors aimed at improving community health and well-being.

The success of the health event serves as a testament to the power of community engagement and collective action in improving healthcare access and outcomes to create a healthier and more resilient society.
