The Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer in collaboration with the Alitaptap Artists Community Inc., celebrated National Arts Month with the PGCĀ Sabayang PahidĀ on February 26, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Building in Trece Martires City. The event showcased the province’s commitment to supporting the arts and nurturing local talent.
The highlight of the event was the painting activity led by members of the Alitaptap Artists Community, Inc., which was actively participated in by PGC employees. This hands-on approach allowed individuals from different walks of life to engage with their creative side and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of artistic expression.
Ms. Cristina Tamayo-Ancanan, Board of Directors of Alitaptap Artists Community Inc., expressed her gratitude to the Provincial Government of Cavite and the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer for their unwavering support in spearheading the Art Month Celebration. She emphasized the collaborative efforts between the government and local organizations, stating, “One of our missions is to propagate and make the arts visible in Cavite, which aligns perfectly with the mission of Alitaptap. Every time we seek help and support, the Provincial Government is there for us, not just with funding but also in coordinating with local agencies.”
