Governor Boying Remulla ensured the public of its safety as he led the distribution of 2,002 units of handheld radios and 2,860 reflectorized vests to the barangay tanod in Cavite City and the municipalities of Kawit, Rosario and Noveleta . During the event, Cavite PPO Deputy Police Director for Operations PSUPT Michael Ceciliano was also in attendance who communicated and explained the roles of barangay tanod under the Local Government Code. Likewise, a total of 1,430 books about disaster awareness were distributed for the consumption of the community to adopt consciousness on disaster management . First District Board Member Gilbert Gandia, together with Kawit OIC-Mayor Juan Ysmael Gandia, Cavite City Mayor Totie Paredes and various councilors and barangay chairmen in the province were also present during the event.
