The local government of Silang led by Mayor Corrie Poblete hosted an outreach activity on August 13, 2019 at Patio Medina, providing basic healthcare services and other forms of assistance to the public including mobile NBI clearance, insurance, telecommunication and electric providers. On behalf of more than 500 beneficiaries of the medical and dental mission sponsored by Governor Jonvic Remulla, Mayor Corrie thanked volunteers from the Provincial Health Office, the Silang Dental Circle, and the Rotary Club of Acropolis for the constant support. Aside from the health mission, Silangeños also benefited from free-of-charge services on fluoride application to daycare students, derma and eye check-up, manicure, pedicure, haircut and massage therapy. The whole-day event which coincided with the birthday celebration of former Silang Mayor Areng Poblete was jam-packed with helpful activities that the locals will look forward to every year.
