Child development workers from 12 cities and municipalities in the province gathered at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires City to participate in the 2nd Child Development Workers Sportsfest organized by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Felipa G. Servañez in cooperation with the Cavite Federation of Day Care Workers, Inc. on October 24, 2017. To foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among daycare workers, PSWDO prepared fun-filled activities which include search for Ms. Sportsfest 2017 and Filipino games like patintero, tumbang preso, relay, puzzle solving, math challenge among others. With their unity and good strategy, day care workers from Tagaytay were hailed as Champion, General Mariano Alvarez Day Care Workers ended up at first place and Silang got the second place. Ms.Tess Bermundo, daycare worker from Imus was crowned as Ms. Sportsfest 2017. Also present at the event were Ms. Aiza Gutierrez and Mr. Vince Bae, as representatives of Vice-Gov. Jolo Revilla and Gov. Boying Remulla, respectively.(PICAD)
