In support to Caviteño students pursuing college education, Governor Boying Remulla spearheaded the distribution of scholarship assistance to three thousand nine hundred sixty-eight (3,968) students from various colleges and universities under the Provincial Scholarship Program on December 1, 2017 at the provincial gymnasium in Trece Martires City. P3,340,000 were granted to 668 qualified student beneficiaries of the online scholarship program who received 5,000 pesos each while 3,300 deserving students received various amounts under the educational assistance program. Governor Boying congratulated the scholars as he emphasized the importance of education and promised the youth that the provincial government will provide bigger allocations for scholarship assistance.The governor also vowed to increase the number of recipients of educational assistance. He was joined by PSP Chairman Alvin Mojica, PSP Vice Chairman Apolonio Golfo, Board Members Gilbert Gandia and Reinalyne Vidallon-Varias, General Emilio Aguinaldo Mayor Danilo Bencito and Tanza Councilor Sandy De Peralta-Go.
