Free Health Care Services for the People of Naic, Indang and Mendez

Almost 3,823 locals benefitted from free health care services provided by the Gangneung City Government and the Select Connect Union (SCU) Social Service Volunteers from South Korea in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Cavite in the Surgical, Medical and Dental Mission on March 8-10 at the Municipalities of Naic, Indang and Mendez. The Gangneung Medical Team composed of doctors, dentists and other health practitioners conducted free medical and dental check-up, tooth extraction, eye check-up, minor surgeries, blood chemistry, ultrasound, acupuncture, oriental medicine and ECG to the less privileged Cavitenos who needed medical attention. They were also given free medicines and vitamins. Present during the event who supported the program were Naic Mayor Jun Dualan, Naic Vice-Mayor Roger Pangilinan, Mendez Mayor Frederick A. Vida, the local officials of the three municipalities and Ms. Fidela R. Castillo, IHomes Cavite President. Members of Mendez Elementary School Batch 64-68 were also in attendance to give assistance on the mission.
