The Provincial Government of Cavite provided a total of 16,000 packs of rice to the families of fisher folks in the coastal areas of the province on July 18, 2018 including the municipalities of Ternate, Naic, Tanza, Noveleta and Cavite City. With the onslaught of habagat, the livelihood of fishermen was affected, thus Governor Boying Remulla together with his brother Governor Jonvic Remulla visited the fishing communities and led the distribution of rice as assistance to their daily basic needs.
