Provincial Government of Cavite thru the initiative of OPG-Extension Office and the Provincial Health Office provided free medical services for the people of Mendez on August 9, 2018 at St. James Parish in Brgy. Galicia I. Medical volunteers from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital and Municipal Health Office checked the health conditions of more than 500 residents and some 49 dental patients underwent tooth extraction. Vice-Mayor Francisco “Cocoy” Mendoza, Jr requested the outreach program as a way of giving back to his constituents; he also thanked the mission team for making healthcare services closer to Caviteños.
