On August 25, 2018, the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO)-Cavite conducted an ARB Congress and CLOA distribution at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction in Silang. DAR Secretary John Castriciones led the ceremonial turnover of Certificates of Land Ownership to a total of 163 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Cavite that covered a total of 112.3266 hectares of land in the province. In his message, Atty. Castriciones told farmers to treasure the land granted to them, as well as to perform the duties mandated under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law or the RA 6657. Cavite Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer James Dubongco expressed appreciation to other guests who also served as speakers to the ARB Congress including ASEC Atty. Elmer Distor, Regional Director Rene Colocar and Asst. Director Priscilla Ong.
