Cavite Provincial Government thru the Provincial Health Office spearheaded the leprosy and skin diseases awareness campaign dubbed as “KUTIS KILATIS”, A National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) under the Department of Health on April 8, 2019 held in Tagaytay City Jail. A total of 164 inmates underwent skin screening and were given free medication. A lecture on skin protection specifically on leprosy detection and prevention was conducted by Ms. Haydelisa Maderazo, Provincial NLCP Coordinator.
