Fourteen aspiring entrepreneurs successfully finished the last part of BIZ iCREATE

Cavite’s Responsible Entrepreneurs Aiming Toward Economic Sustainability on May 28, 2019 at PCLEDO Training Area, CaCoDeC in Trece Martires City. The program aims to equip Cavite SMEs with proper training for the enhancement of their knowledge in running a business towards sustainability and economic development.

In the last session, participants Ā divided into two groups presented their business plan to the panel composed of Mr. Rico P. Chavez, Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist, DTI- Cavite; Ms. Greziel M. Baylosis, Marketing Manager of RGER SERVICES; Mr. Zandro M. Catacutan, Faculty Researcher of Cavite State University- Main Campus; Mr. Allan G. Reclusado, Manager/Owner of Aqua Four A Purified/Alkaline Water Station; and Mr. Ashley C. Espino, BSBA Marketing Management graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines-San Pedro Laguna Campus. Panelists recommended some essential tips and strategies that can improve their business plan.

Afterwards, the graduation ceremony of BIZ iCREATE Batch 1 was held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Provincial Capitol. Entrepreneurial Division Head Ms. Liza C. Gabatan warmly congratulated the graduates and discussed the overview of BIZ iCREATE. Likewise, Office-in-Charge of PCLEDO Atty. Khervy B. Reyes delivered his inspirational message wherein he echoed that an effective businessman does not only focus in increasing his net income but also on creating jobs, helping the community and saving the environment. Dr. Aldrin P. Antivola, BIZ I iCREATE Resource Person, shared a message of encouragement to the graduates as he compared the success of an entrepreneur to an eagle who uses its wings to soar high and attain success. He also pointed out that everyone should not be a quitter or a camper but be a climber who continues to ascend ā€“ someone who is determined to live life to its fullest and always has the spirit of success. On behalf of DTI-Cavite Dir. Noly D. Guevara, Mr. Chavez delivered his words of challenge and assured that the door of DTI is always open to assist and help entrepreneurs. In response, Batch 1 BIZ iCREATE graduate Ms. Angelina M. San Pedro expressed her gratefulness for the success of the training. She reiterated that in order to be successful one must know how to get along and always offer unique and extraordinary products and services to the consumers.

Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of special awards to the graduates. The Best in Business Plan award were presented to Royette O. Candanido of The Dairy Dose and Angelina M. San Pedro of Precious Knowledge Training Center while Best in Product Innovation award were received by Sheryl Gerona of PRV-357 Trading-Organik Jam and Angelica U. Chongco of Bath & Body Home-Mayumi Organics.
