In line with the celebration of Cavite Day, the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) conducted Cavite Day Art Fair 2021 on March 22, 2021 via Cavite Tourism Facebook fan page. The online activity showcased the unique works crafted by artists of Alitaptap Community of Amadeo, aiming to sustain creativity, build cultural arts resiliency, and aid in mitigating losses amid the pandemic.
The online gallery featured eight (8) artists with a total of 28 artworks combined: (1) Bokeng Ancanan with Woods, Blue Rush, Sunrise In My Mind, Unseen Celebration, and Time; (2) Crisanta T. Ancanan with Babae, Lagusan 1, and Lagusan 2; (3) Bobby Balangit with Barayt-Barayt 1, Barayt-Barayt 2, Hiroshima, and Umi Hirosakiās House; (4) Emard CaƱedo with Do Not Across, Pag-Asa, and Ligaw; (5) Winston Hernandez with Patio Tirona, Pink Katipunan, Ako At Ang Aking Pang Araw-Araw Na Kalayaan, and Bibingka Heirloom; (6) Adrian Jay S. Manuel with Hayahay, Nude, and Crown of my Time; (7) Mac Eparwa with Untitled 1, Untitled 2, and Untitled 3, and (8) Othoniel Neri with Frank Sinatra, What a Wonderful World, and Moon River.
Some of the artworks uploaded are for sale at very affordable prices.
Moreover, the art fair also encouraged other Cavite-based artists who wish to promote or sell their works. –(PTCAO)
